Your location map

The map on your website shows the places you love to shoot, so clients can picture their session. Open Website > Location map.

There are two kinds of pins:

• Local spots: beaches, parks and streets near where you're based.
• Travel ideas: places further away, to show clients you travel.

Visitors can also search any place on the map.

Add a spot

1. Click Add a spot.
2. Type a Name and choose the Map: Local spot or Travel ideas.
3. Find the place so the pin lands in the right spot.
4. Fill in Best for (like "Couples, portraits") and a Tip (like "Best in the hour before sunset.").
5. Leave Show on map ticked and click Add spot.

Add a photo

On the spot's card, click Add photo (or Replace photo). A photo you took there works best.

Edit, hide or delete

• Click Edit on a spot's card, change what you need and click Save spot.
• Untick Show on map to hide a spot without deleting it. It shows as hidden in the list.
• Delete spot, then click again to confirm, removes it.

Show the map on your homepage

Go to Website > Content > Homepage text and tick Places map under What shows on the homepage. The text above the travel map is set in the Travel map box on the same tab.
