Turn an inquiry into a booking
Hold a time for them, send a booking link, or book them by hand.
Each open inquiry in Clients > Inquiries has three ways to get to a booking. Pick the one that fits how far along you are.
Hold a time for them
Best when you've agreed on a time and want them to lock it in.
- Click Hold a time for them.
- Pick their Session and an open Time. The list shows your next open times over the coming four months, leaving out any that clash with your connected Google Calendar.
- Click Hold it and email them.
The time is hidden from everyone else for three days (or until the session, if that's sooner). They get an email that opens your booking page on that time, with the deposit amount. Once they pay the deposit it's booked and the inquiry is marked Booked. If they don't book in time, the time opens to everyone again.
If you see "That time is too short", the open time is shorter than the package or is reserved for another package. Pick another or open up a new one.
Send booking link
Best when they still need to choose a time.
- Click Send booking link.
- Pick a Session (optional), or leave Let them choose.
- Click Email the link.
They pick a time and pay the deposit online. The booking, contract and client record follow on their own, and the inquiry is marked Booked when they book.
Book by hand
Best for sessions arranged by text, DM or in person, where they won't pay online.
Click Book by hand. This makes them a client and opens their client page at the Book a session by hand form. See Add a session by hand.
