Change your card, switch plans or cancel
Use Stripe's billing page to update your card, change plan or cancel, and what happens if a payment fails.
Once you have a plan, Account > Billing shows your plan, when it renews, your next payment, your card, and your last 12 invoices. Changes to the plan itself happen on Stripe's secure billing page.
Open Stripe's billing page
Go to Account > Billing and click any of these. They all open the same place:
- Manage billing at the top of the page
- Change card (or Add a card) in the Card on file card
- Open billing settings in the Cancel or change plan card
From there you can switch plans, change between monthly and yearly, update your card or billing details, and cancel. When you're done, return to Apture and the Billing page updates.
Invoices
The Invoices table on the Billing page lists your last 12, with View and PDF links for each.
Cancelling
Cancel from Stripe's billing page. Everything keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and your plan shows Cancelled with the date it ends.
After that date:
- For 14 days, new uploads, new galleries and online bookings are paused. You can still sign in, see everything, export your data and choose a plan again. Clients can still reach their galleries and portal.
- After that, your website and client pages go offline and the admin opens on Billing only.
Before you cancel, you may want to download everything from Account > Export your data. If you want your studio removed for good, see Delete your studio.
If a payment fails
If your card can't be charged, you'll see Payment failed and a banner across the admin. Everything keeps working for 7 days. Click Update billing or Manage billing and update your card.
If it still isn't paid after 7 days, uploads, new galleries and online bookings pause, and 14 days after that your site goes offline, just like a plan that ended.
